Spoilers ahead

Two years after the previous film, Marnie Piper prepares to begin a new school year and pitches a bold idea: open the doors between Halloweentown and the mortal world. She proposes bringing a group of Halloweentown students to her own high school in the mortal world, hoping to foster understanding and friendship. The idea makes the Halloweentown High Council, led by Aggie Cromwell, wary at first. The council fears the return of old hostilities, especially the legend of the Knights of the Iron Dagger, a fanatic order bent on destroying all things magical. Yet they tentatively agree to test the plan after Marnie astonishingly bets “all the Cromwell magic” that it will work.
