
Carol, a lonely Los Angeles waitress and aspiring singer, sees an ad for a job in Tokyo. She goes to Japan to work at the White Orchid nightclub, only to discover it is a Yakuza‑run prostitution racket. Stranded without money or passport, she gets protection from Shiro while the managers, Madame Mori and her husband Hatanaka, pressure her to serve clients.
