What Is Freakshow About?
The premise of Freakshow without spoilers.
In a modern retelling of Tod Browning’s 1932 Freaks, a gang of criminals hides as security guards at a circus. They plot with an insider to steal ticket sales, but Lucy has a bigger plan: she will seduce and marry the aging owner, Lon, then claim the circus fortune after a staged accident. When the freaks discover the scheme and the gang kills the youngest of their own to silence her, the circus finds the child’s remains and vows revenge, putting Lucy and the criminals in grave danger.
