What Is Fidibus About?
The premise of Fidibus without spoilers.
Kalle, a well‑meaning middle‑class youngster, falls into debt and an old friendship that makes him a “fidibus”—a go‑far—for the hash baron Paten. When Paten is unexpectedly jailed, he tells Kalle to run the shop in his stead. Yet nobody dares touch Paten’s money, his car, or, especially, his girlfriend Saby, whose wit is described as thin as water.
