Episode 1. Aeneas, Giulio Brogi, a demigod and one of the few survivors of the Trojan War, slips away from the burning city with a Trojan fleet. His distant horizon leads him to Carthage, where the queen Dido, Olga Karlatos, asks him to tell the story behind his perilous voyage. He begins by recounting the collapse of Troy and the famous Trojan Horse, a tale that frames his journey as a test of endurance, fate, and the duty of leadership.

Episode 2. The tale continues as Aeneas narrates the long sailing across the Mediterranean. He recalls a stop at Delos and the oracle’s ominous instruction to seek the “ancient mother” and, guided by that cryptic instruction, to set course toward the west. The journey unfolds with a mix of peril at sea, divine omens, and the weight of prophecy that shadows every mile.

Episode 3. After listening, Dido is at once skeptical and strangely captivated by his search for the earth mother. She is unable to sleep and urges him to pursue this quest in the northern land called Hesperia, suggesting that the path to his destiny lies beyond the known horizons.

Episode 4. Aeneas reaches a sanctuary of Trojan survivors on a remote island. The mood turns tense as the goddess Giunone, Ilaria Guerrini, provokes the Trojan women to set fire to their own ships, testing the resilience of the fleet. The skies answer with rain, quenching the flames and sparing the remaining vessels, a sign that fate still leans in their favor.

Episode 5. At the urging of his mother Venus, Marilù Tolo, Aeneas descends toward the underworld to draw strength from the shade of his father. The Trojans press on to Latium, where a prophecy speaks of Lavinia, the daughter of Latinus, marrying a foreigner. Amid these prophecies, Aeneas forms a cautious bond with Turnus, ruler of the Rutuli, setting the stage for alliances and later conflict.

Episode 6. Following counsel from Latinus, Aeneas travels inland where an old Greek man recounts legends that shape his sense of purpose. The narrative hints at intrigues surrounding Lavinia and Turnus, deepening the rift between the Trojan newcomers and the Latins and stirring questions about loyalty, kinship, and destiny.

Episode 7. To resolve the mounting tension, Aeneas accepts a duel to the death with Turnus and emerges victorious. He then weds Lavinia, and Latinus, in his last act, bequeaths his land to Aeneas, marking a pivotal turning point as the Trojans begin to plant roots in a new homeland.
