Mike Christian [Jonathan Bennett] falls in love with a Jewish girl, Dylan Lipnick [Jamie-Lynn Sigler], and their relationship begins under the shadow of family expectations. Dylan’s grandparents and parents initially disapprove, but after Mike converts to Judaism, their union earns tentative approval. Dylan’s own history—her parents’ messy divorce— weighs heavily on her, so she drafts a long prenup that Mike signs without reading.
