Mike Christian [Jonathan Bennett] falls in love with a Jewish girl, Dylan Lipnick [Jamie-Lynn Sigler], and their relationship begins under the shadow of family expectations. Dylan’s grandparents and parents initially disapprove, but after Mike converts to Judaism, their union earns tentative approval.
