Spoilers ahead
In 1990, Milea, Vanesha Prescillia, and her parents move from Jakarta to Bandung, bringing along her sister Adhisty Zara. On the way to school, she meets Dilan, Iqbaal Ramadhan, the “bad boy” and leader of a motorbike gang who promises that someday she will sit on his bike as his girlfriend.
Dilan begins flirting by visiting her house, making payphone calls, and sending her cheesy gifts. Unbeknownst to him, Milea already has a boyfriend named Benni in Jakarta; however, gradually, she grows uncomfortable with his rude and foul-mouthed behavior. With Dilan’s frequent, overconfident advances, Milea starts to develop feelings for him.
