Ajay is a rich, spoiled young man who pursues Asha, a woman who shoulders all the heavy responsibilities of her family. In contrast, Vijay is a stubborn, middle-class job seeker who loves Aarti and hopes for a simpler, steadier life. The film sets these two very different paths on a collision course, weaving romance with ambition, privilege with duty, and expectation with secrecy. As the story unfolds, the two men inhabit sharply different worlds, yet their paths cross in ways that challenge and change them both.

Despite their differences, Ajay and Vijay hate each other. A twist of fate lands Vijay a job in the same company where Ajay’s father, Daulatram, is a recognized figure, unbeknownst to Vijay. Ajay schemes to get him fired, but his plans constantly backfire as loyalties, truth, and old grievances surface. The workplace becomes a stage for a larger family drama, where business and bloodlines blur, and each maneuver exposes how deeply the past can shape the present.

As the past comes to light, it is revealed that Vishwanath Kashyap, Ajay’s father, left Vijay’s mother, Nirmaladevi, to marry Ajay’s mother, Lalita V. Kashyap, for money. This tangled history forces Ajay to confront his own lineage and makes him promise to locate his half-sibling and the stepmother and ensure they receive an equal share of the family property. The revelation shifts the moral compass of the story, turning personal vengeance into a fight for fairness and legitimacy within a precarious family empire.

Meanwhile, Vijay realizes that Ajay is his half-brother and initially aligns with Ajay’s rivals in a bid to undermine him. He pursues this plan with a mix of hurt pride and fear for his mother’s well-being, only to be moved by a pivotal moment: overhearing Ajay speak to his mother about giving half of his property to his half-brother and his stepmother. This revelation prompts a seismic shift, and Vijay chooses forgiveness over revenge, recalibrating his path and mending the rift between the brothers.

Chaos intensifies as goons attack Ajay’s mother, and the brothers respond with resolve, seeking justice against Bhogilal(/actor/paresh-rawal), the man who killed Ajay’s grandfather. The confrontation with Bhogilal becomes a catalyst for reconciliation, pushing the two half-brothers toward a shared purpose and a renewed sense of family loyalty that had been frayed by wealth, betrayal, and ambition. The tension between money and affection, duty and desire, drives the narrative toward a cathartic reckoning.

In the end, the family’s bonds are tested, but the hearts of the two brothers grow to accept a broader sense of kinship. Ajay’s mother dies, leaving a final plea for unity and inclusion: to accept both her sons as part of the same family. Heeding her wish, the brothers—and their loved ones—choose to live together, transforming a fractured lineage into a single, united family. The film closes on a note of reconciliation and hopeful continuity, where love, forgiveness, and shared responsibility redefine what it means to belong.
