Watching from the shadows, Chitraguptan schemes to become the next Yeman, but fate has a different plan in store. To honor his lineage, Yeman Jr.—a lively fifth grader known for his humor more than his studies—is chosen as the heir to the throne. The news hits him like a surprise wind, and he openly argues with his parents about the burden of a crown he never asked for, a debate that ultimately leads to a reluctant coronation for the sake of his parents.

The decision fuels Chitraguptan’s envy and sparks a bitter rivalry. The newly anointed Yeman Jr. finds himself targeted by a power-hungry plot to dethrone him, and the tension intensifies as the old order watches with clenched trust. In a fateful turn, Yeman Jr. performs a courageous act: he saves a young girl from a dangerous truck accident and, in a moment that unsettles the powers that be, prevents the death of a corrupt caste politician, Kumaradasan. This reckless mercy frays the nerves of the celestial powers, and Shiva Peruman grows exasperated by the prince’s meddling. In a dramatic reversal, Shiva Peruman swallows Yeman Sr. whole and issues a stark ultimatum to Yeman Jr.: reform within seven days and kill Kumaradasan, or else Shiva will annihilate Yemalogam itself. This chilling threat sets the clock ticking and intensifies the moral dilemma at the story’s core.

To counter the crisis, Yeman Jr. receives a glimmer of hope in a plan nicknamed “1+1,” crafted by four distinguished men who believe in his capacity to mend past mistakes and save their celestial realm.
