When the killer phones Malloy from his own home and taunts him about a prior investigation into a string of prostitute murders, the caller makes the danger personal: as revenge, Mary, Dina Meyer, Malloy’s girlfriend, is killed. This brutal move sets Malloy on a relentless pursuit that quickly turns his life upside down.
