What Is Curse of the Crimson Altar About?

When his brother vanishes, Robert Manning travels to the isolated country house where he was last heard. The host greets him politely and his niece seems equally warm, but an unsettling atmosphere pervades. Legends of Lavinia Morley, the Black Witch of Greymarsh, loom over the estate, threatening to unleash raw terror.
