Ji Hyeong-do, a master assassin, plies his deadly trade under the guise of a metal fabrication company. His exceptional skills have earned him a reputation as one of the most formidable hitmen in the business. When he's assigned to eliminate his young protégé Ra-Hun, it marks the beginning of a journey that will challenge everything he thought he knew about himself and his line of work.
As Hyeong-do pays a visit to Ra-Hun's home, he finds himself captivated by the former singer Yu Mi-Yeon, who is now Ra-Hun's mother. Their chance encounter sets off a chain reaction that will have far-reaching consequences for both of them. Meanwhile, the company's operations are thrown into chaos when one of Hyeong-do's colleagues, reeling from the loss of his son, begins to question the morality of their profession and requests a meeting with Hyeong-do.
As the stakes escalate, Hyeong-do finds himself torn between his loyalty to the company and his growing bond with Mi-Yeon. His direct superior, Kwon, however, is less than pleased with Hyeong-do's newfound sense of purpose, and their tension comes to a head when Hyeong-do is assigned to take out his troubled colleague.
As the walls close in around him, Hyeong-do is forced to confront the true nature of his existence. His decision to defy the company sets off a chain reaction that will leave him fighting for survival against those who were once his comrades. In the end, it's a desperate bid to start anew with Mi-Yeon that leads Hyeong-do down a perilous path, culminating in a heart-stopping showdown that will leave only one side victorious.
In the aftermath of the carnage, Hyeong-do emerges from the wreckage, wounded but determined. As the police close in, he's left with no choice but to surrender and face the music. The curtain may have fallen on his life as an assassin, but for Ji Hyeong-do, a new chapter is just beginning – one that will be defined by the love he shared with Mi-Yeon and the redemption he seeks.
