Classic Albums: Steely Dan - Aja (1999): Cast

Aja was Steely Dan's biggest‑selling album and their first as a duo of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. They recall making tracks like “Peg,” “Deacon Blues” and “Josie.” Guest singers Michael McDonald and Ian Dury, producer Gary Katz and session musicians also appear. The film paints a portrait of a ’70s record feeling fresh decades later.
