Marco is tormented by his past and the knowledge that redemption remains out of reach. He was foretold by God that only a savior might free him from this fate, and he believes that Sunder is that savior. Though terrified, Sunder is reminded of his own dream—the school he wants to build—and Marco’s insistence that he can help if he accepts a bargain. The two strike an uneasy alliance: Marco will assist Sunder in his mission, but only if Sunder helps Savitri Kaul and her father, Mr. Kaul, reclaim what is theirs and save the school project from ruin.

Marco’s heartbreak deepens when he learns that Savitri dies not long after this confrontation, but the revelation brings a new, surprising bloom: he discovers that he has a daughter with Savitri, Mala, Urmila Matondkar. This new bond fuels Marco’s resolve and reshapes his ghostly mission. With Mala in the picture and Sunder by his side, the two form a fragile alliance that is powered by a shared love for the school and a desire to rebuild their lives anew.

The plot thickens as Sunder and Mala grow closer, and Marco continues to protect them from Kunta’s interference. The ghost’s presence becomes a powerful, invisible shield as he guides their efforts to raise funds for the school, and he reveals a hidden room filled with Marco’s loot—money that could seal the project’s fate. The plan is simple in theory: make an anonymous donation to secure the school’s future while leaving enough behind to help Sunder realize his dream. But the moment Kunta discovers the secret room, the money is stolen and its use quickly falls into the hands of the wrong people. In a flash of despair, Marco mutters a sharp couple of words that puncture the night air: Woh Kunta saala.

In a desperate bid to recover what was lost, Marco uses a sly gambit to double the money, but the truth surfaces and Sunder becomes the fall guy for the theft, even though there is no solid proof. The tension between truth and trust tears at their alliance, driving a rift between them that seems almost fatal. Yet Marco, determined to redeem his own name and to keep Sunder from being crushed under the weight of suspicion, comes clean about the theft, and the two brothers-in-arms fight their way through the fallout.

Time moves on, and Sunder is released from prison to face a high-stakes cricket match between his team and one led by Kunta’s nephew. If Sunder’s team wins, the school will secure the funds needed to stay afloat. At first, the odds tilt away from them, but Marco reenters the field—still invisible to most, but radiating a new, almost magnetic energy—and sabotages the rival team. The shift is undeniable: their side surges to victory, and hope blooms once again for the school and for Sunder’s dream.

Yet the drama isn’t over. Sunder reveals the truth about Marco’s ghost to the inspector who has haunted the case, known in the tale as IG Tripathi, shaking the foundation of the investigation and forcing the villainous Kunta to confront the consequences of his actions. Before long, a dangerous confrontation unfolds: Kunta abducts Sunder and Mala and tries to bury them alive in the same cemetery where Marco was laid to rest. Marco summons help, guiding the police to the cemetery and leading a final, violent clash between his former allies and the living.
