Spoilers ahead
Maggie Kemlich, Victoria Principal, is a blind woman who defies assumptions by living a full, independent life despite her disability. When robbers murder her husband Gordon Kemlich with a stun gun, Maggie’s account stands out even to those who doubt her vision. The police, including Det. Mike Tuthill, Paul Le Mat, largely dismiss her observations because of her blindness, and they quickly arrest men they believe are responsible. Yet Maggie refuses to stay silent, insisting that they have the wrong killers, which pushes her into a dangerous confrontation with the people who murdered her husband.
