In Kochi, Antappan, Rahman, and his friends Sintappan, Bibin George, Alosh, Senthil Krishna Rajamani, and Chakkara, Anson Paul drift through the rough edges of the city as part of the Bad Boys Arts and Sports Club, chasing a loud, self-made sense of power through staged fights with rival wannabe goons.
They perform paid fights to earn money and bolster their image, trading loyalty for quick paydays and the thrill of being feared on the streets.
Everything shifts when a chain is snatched from Antappan’s wife. The crew pursues the thief in their car and ends up face-to-face with Vettukadu Belson, Babu Antony and his gang. A clash leaves Belson unconscious, and the group only realizes the identity of their opponent after spotting a license plate on Belson’s car.
They hurry back home to plan an exit from town, but Belson’s henchmen arrive at their doorstep: Althara Ambadi, Sudheer Sukumaran, and Kalikkavu Suni, Tini Tom, who offer to join Antappan’s crew as his new henchmen. Antappan is reluctant, but his wife convinces him to accept them, and the troupe begins to profit from rowdyism, expanding both their influence and the risks they take.
A new police inspector, SI Amjath Khan, Dhyan Sreenivasan, arrives and presses Antappan to straighten up. After a tense period, Antappan is arrested and spends two months in jail, a turning point that interrupts his carefree life and sends him back toward a more ordinary routine.
