What Is Backlash About?

Jim Slater learns that his unknown father died in an Apache ambush at Gila Valley. Determined to find the sole survivor who vanished with a cache of gold, Jim draws enemies and repeatedly crosses paths with the fierce Karyl Orton, who may share his quest.
