A high-stakes tale unfolds across two intertwined timelines, where a relentless fight against sex trafficking collides with a decades-spanning vendetta that haunts a devoted father. In the present day, SP Amanpreet Singh fights to dismantle a network of criminals led by a ruthless mastermind known simply as Boss. As the case tightens, a chilling twist arrives in the form of a video call from his own daughter, snatched into the traffickers’ web. With a countdown of fifteen days to reveal the anonymous informant who tipped Boss off, Amanpreet must chase down clues while the danger closes in around him.

In Kerala, John D’Silva, a warm-hearted bakery owner known as Baby John, lives a quiet life with his beloved daughter Khushi, his loyal dog Tiger, and his loyal friend Jackie. He prefers dialogue to confrontation and believes most disputes can be settled without violence. But when Khushi is bullied at school, John teaches her to stand up for herself, showing that sometimes strength—especially in the face of cruelty—must be spoken aloud. When Khushi defeats the bully, their teacher Tara steps into their lives. Tara, a compassionate teacher who eventually begins to develop feelings for John, offers a bridge between John’s peaceful ethos and the harsher realities he’s about to confront. John explains that Malayalam is not his language, yet his actions in moments of danger betray a deeper connection to the region and its people.

A tense afternoon at a church becomes the catalyst for a dangerous run-in with Devi, a girl who had once escaped Boss’s grip but remains pursued by the gang. Tara witnesses the fragile, evolving loyalties of the moment and quietly helps Devi hide in the boot of John’s car, all while heading toward the police station to file a report. The situation intensifies as a police encounter reveals a startling truth: John is not merely a benign bakery owner, but a man with a hidden past. Tara, who had initially presumed John spoke Malayalam, discovers a surprising layer to his identity when a station officer addresses him as Satya Verma. This moment sends Tara’s investigation spiraling toward a deeper conspiracy, and it’s only the beginning of a truth that will connect the present-day struggle with a past filled with violence and vengeance.

The story behind John’s life unfolds in a long, painful flashback. Six years earlier, DCP Satya Verma returns to his roots in a city teeming with criminals who treat the vulnerable as expendable. A missing girl named Amba triggers his investigation, and a trail of beer bottles and bones from non-veg snacks leads him to a brutal crime scene. Satya learns that Amba was preyed upon by Ashwin, the spoiled son of a powerful politician, Nanaji, also known as Babbar Sher, along with his ruthless henchmen. Satya’s pursuit of justice clashes with a corrupt system that seems to tolerate atrocity, and Nanaji’s influence binds even the law to the criminals’ mercy. When Satya confronts Ashwin and discovers the political machinery that protects him, the case escalates into a grim revelation: every year, tens of thousands of women face sexual violence, a truth that weighs heavily on Satya’s conscience. He chooses to act, and in a brutal confrontation, he takes Ashwin down and declares that the cycle of impunity must end.

Satya’s personal life blossoms as he saves children from a street-begging racketeering ring and meets Meera, a Chennai-based doctor. Although initially wary of him, Meera is moved by Satya’s commitment to education and the well-being of the kids he rescues. The two fall in love, marry, and build a life together, eventually welcoming their daughter Khushi. But tragedy soon disrupts this fragile happiness: on Khushi’s birthday, Nanaji’s faction—assisted by Babbar Sher, Bhima, and Inspector Baldev Patil—attacks their home. Meera, Satya’s mother Madhvi, and Khushi are endangered, and Satya endures a brutal assault that leaves him scarred. In a harrowing act of defiance, Nanaji shreds Satya’s back with a spiked belt and sets the house on fire, leaving Satya to confront the killer’s rage and mourn the life that was stolen. Meera sacrifices herself to save Khushi, and Satya, shattered, takes a vow to abandon the police and seek a peaceful future with his daughter. He fakes his own death, stepping away from the battlefield to protect what remains of his family.

Back in the present, Adhira—whose true identity emerges as a covert officer—carries the grief and complexity of Satya’s past into a new chapter of the story. Khushi’s school trip becomes a dangerous mirror of the past as Babbar Sher learns that Satya and Khushi survived, orchestrating a deadly accident in the hope of reclaiming control. Nanaji’s machinations extend into the present as he eliminates key figures like Amanpreet Singh in prison, signaling that the old guard will stop at nothing. Yet Satya, aided by Adhira and the local community, acts to save Khushi and uncover the truth behind the orchestrated threats.

As the saga climaxes, Satya returns to Mumbai to confront Babbar Sher’s criminal empire, dismantling its operations and killing Baldev Patil and Bhima in a direct confrontation. Babbar Sher kidnaps Khushi, pressing Satya to mount a final rescue. In a tense showdown, Satya reaches Sher’s hideout, rescues Khushi and a group of women, and condemns Sher to a deadly reckoning at the hands of those he harmed. The story moves toward a quieter, more resolute future: two years later, Satya has become a RAW field agent, continuing the fight with Adhira and their allies, including Jackie and Agent Bhaijaan, on a mission to end Boss’s criminal empire and to hold those who enabled the cycle of violence—like the former DGP Yashraj Mukherjee—accountable for their roles.

This gripping narrative threads together themes of justice, loyalty, and the human cost of corruption. It tracks a man who once believed in the law’s mercy and a daughter who embodies hope for a safer world. Along the way, it asks whether violence can ever truly heal what violence has broken, and whether forgiveness can coexist with accountability. Through its shifting perspectives and tightly wound suspense, the story remains focused on the bonds of family and the unyielding pursuit of justice, even when the path forward is shadowed by a past that refuses to stay buried.

Key players include the relentless Varun Dhawan as John D’Silva and Satya Verma, the fierce Wamiqa Gabbi as Tara, the steadfast Keerthy Suresh as Meera, and the formidable Jackie Shroff in a dual role as Babbar Sher and Nanaji. The harrowing journey is underscored by Prakash Belawadi as DGP Yashraj Mukherjee, Jaffer Sadiq as Boss, and Zakir Hussain as Inspector Baldev Patil, with Sheeba Chaddha bringing to life Madhvi Verma, Satya’s mother. The presence of Salman Khan as Agent Bhaijaan adds a guiding, seasoned note to the mission, while Kaali Venkat reminds us of the intertwined threads that connect Amba’s father to the broader web of violence that Satya vows to dismantle.
