What Is Asylum About?
The premise of Asylum without spoilers.
Carlos travels to the asylum where his girlfriend Juana works, hoping for a simple visit. The director warmly welcomes him and presents his peculiar niece, a young woman utterly devoted to playing the harp at any moment, as well as a stoic nurse who mirrors every word Carlos utters, turning the encounter into a strangely echoing experience.
