And Then They Came for Us (2017): Cast

Seventy-five years ago, Executive Order 9066 led to the forced incarceration of 120,000 Japanese Americans, a profound violation of constitutional rights. This documentary features George Takei and others who lived through this experience, alongside rediscovered photographs by Dorothea Lange. The film connects this historical injustice to contemporary issues, following Japanese American activists as they protest the Muslim registry and travel ban, emphasizing the importance of learning from the past to prevent future injustices.
