
Insurance salesman Milford Farnsworth sells a life insurance policy to a man who turns out to be the outlaw Jesse James. When Milford is tasked with buying back the policy, Jesse robs him. Learning that Milford’s boss is about to leave with a large sum, Jesse plots a robbery that will also frame Milford—dressed as Jesse—to collect the policy money.
