Rajinikanth Muralitharan, Silambarasan, is introduced as a carefree MBA student and bike enthusiast who rides through life with a tight-knit group of friends: Mahesh Sathish Krishnan, Shyam, Srikanth, and Auto Selvam. He has two sisters and two past loves, Sukanya and Mallika, and he treats his newest Thunderbird as if it were a first love. The mood shifts when he meets Leela, Manjima Mohan, a friend of his sister Maythrei Muralidharan Anjali Rao who stays with him to finish her studies. What begins as a temporary arrangement soon sparks a romance that pulls him into a long, sunlit road trip toward Kanyakumari, with Leela joining him instead of his friend Mahesh.

They set out for Kanyakumari through Salem, Palakkad, and Trivandrum, and the journey becomes a playful but revealing voyage. The protagonist humorously discovers Leela’s appetite for food and the pair share moments of growing affection. A night in a village, looked after by a kind-hearted local, softens their bond, and at sunrise in Kanyakumari, Leela’s feelings for him deepen. After the trip, he agrees to drop her at her home in Kolhapur. On the road toward Maharashtra, a severe accident shakes them both: the protagonist injures his shoulder, and, in a near-death moment, proposes to Leela before he collapses. He wakes in a hospital, and a frightened电话 to Leela signals that something is terribly wrong.

That same day, Leela’s parents are attacked. The trio learns that Leela herself was the target, and the protagonist vows to protect her at all costs. In their scramble for safety, they collide with a corrupt cop, Kamath, who, with the help of the gangster Hiren, orchestrates the murder of Leela’s parents. Mahesh is also killed in the attack, leaving the protagonist devastated and consumed by a desire for vengeance. The couple goes into hiding as Kamath intensifies the chase, even showing up at Mahesh’s funeral. A maneuver involving a friend who poses as the owner of the protagonist’s bike with fake papers misleads Kamath and sends him back to Maharashtra.

Two years pass, and Kamath returns to Kolhapur, only to find the protagonist waiting in the shadows as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajini’s transformation complete: he has pursued UPSC, chose IPS over IAS, and embraced a life of vigilant justice. The revelation of his hidden name comes with a poignant family reason: his mother, a big fan of Rajinikanth, named him accordingly, so others would spare a moment to recognize him. As the case unfolds, Rajini discloses the broader conspiracy behind Leela’s danger. Leela’s biological father, Nathuram Dubey, is a politician in Maharashtra and a chief ministerial candidate whose schemes target Leela. Leela’s actual mother, Anamika, knew about the danger, and Rajini’s vigilante plan aligns with a careful, patient pursuit.

Rajini’s investigation identifies Kamath, Nathuram, and Hiren as central figures in the plot, and his strategy to bring them down evolves into a high-stakes confrontation. After Nathuram is arrested, Kamath tries to kill Rajini and ends up shooting Nathuram, only to be faced with Rajini in self-defense. Kamath falls, and the film returns to its emotional core: the hero takes a brief vacation for personal healing, reunites with Leela in the village where they first found respite, and they ride once more toward Kanyakumari. The story closes on the hopeful note of a renewed relationship, as Rajini finally proposes to Leela during another bike ride, sealing their future together with the same faith and passion that began their journey.

The film weaves action, romance, and a quest for justice into a long, winding road story that stays true to its core relationships, while revealing the layers of friendship, family, and the drive for vengeance that shape Rajini’s path from carefree student to dedicated guardian.
