The film revolves around uncovering the elusive mastermind known as Albert, who runs the spot-fixing operations for IPL matches in Chennai. When the Chennai Police Commissioner receives a tip that Albert plans to fix a bowler for a crucial over in the semifinal, the investigation kicks into high gear, with officers told to stay alert for any sign of the mastermind or clues that could lead to him.

Dhayalan, Albert’s operative, moves through the city using a taxi owned by Panneer to sow confusion. His movements keep the police guessing, as GPS signals are deliberately muddled to blur the trail. Throughout their cross-town routes, the two men share life stories, finding a strange camaraderie amid the tension and risk of their illicit trade. The scenes between them paint a portrait of loyalty forged in a game where every mile could be a trap.

[Panneer] drops Dhayalan at a hotel, and the next morning the deadly truth emerges: Dhayalan is found dead, a knife in his chest. This murder becomes a catalyst for action as Inspector Bhoominathan /[/actor/bobby-simha]( Bobby Simha) and his Constable Mariadas move to arrest [Panneer] as the prime suspect. The arrest rattles the case, but the story twists further when a film producer, presenting himself as a Maharashtra Police Officer, intervenes. He sees an opportunity in the last person to have seen Dhayalan alive and aims to leverage that connection to place a massive bet on the semifinal, hoping to settle crushing debts.

As the police lay a trap for Albert, [Panneer] plays a pivotal role, yet Albert fights back and slips away, turning the trap into a near-miss. The aftermath reshapes fortunes: [Panneer] pockets two crores from the bet and uses the windfall to start his own taxi call service, while his wife Rama launches a restaurant, signaling a new chapter born from the chaos surrounding the IPL fix. The film leaves viewers with a careful look at ambition, risk, and the sharp edge of a city where games of chance are played out in the shadows of big moments.
