With ambition fueling him, Franklin recruits his friend Andy, who boldly steals an access badge from his boss, giving Franklin the opportunity to sneak backstage during a high-stakes presentation. However, luck runs out when Anton catches him in the act. Instead of punishment, Anton intriguingly invites Franklin to stay and witness his presentation in full. During this presentation, Anton unveils his latest invention, the “Tri-Band 5.” This groundbreaking device is a wrist-worn gadget that utilizes neuro-technology, promising a radical improvement in managing conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and even addiction—all without the reliance on traditional medications.

Just as the excitement in the audience builds, an unexpected threat arises when a furious audience member bursts onto the stage brandishing a gun, putting Anton’s life in jeopardy. In a moment of valiant bravery, Franklin instinctively intervenes, pushing the assailant away and saving Anton. Grateful for Franklin’s courage, Anton finally agrees to the much-coveted interview. However, as Franklin prepares to exit the stage, he notices Anton’s ring glimmering on the floor. Curious, he picks it up, unintentionally triggering a bizarre phenomenon that transports him 57 seconds into the past.

The plot thickens as audiences are introduced to the cunning Sig Thorenson, a rival from the pharmaceutical industry who sees Anton’s invention as a direct threat to his business empire. Driven by jealousy and fear, Sig believes Anton may have staged the attack to gain sympathy for his revolutionary device. Franklin, however, is reluctant to engage; he harbors a deep-seated hatred for Sig, whose company produced Zonastin, a deadly painkiller that ensnared his twin sister, Natalie, in a web of addiction following a tragic car accident. Despite Franklin’s desperate measures to help her recover, Natalie ultimately succumbed to a fatal overdose, igniting Franklin’s relentless quest to expose the pharmaceutical giant’s malicious practices.

Intriguingly, Ingram, Anton’s loyal associate, facilitates Franklin’s dream meeting with Anton, who thanks him for saving his life by gifting him a tri-band device. During their discussion, Anton outlines his audacious plan to enhance tri-band technology to prevent physical injuries from accidents, while revealing the ring’s true capability—a unique connection to quantum particles that grants time travel.

Jala eventually uncovers Franklin’s secret time travel abilities, leading to a painful breakup as she grapples with disbelief and betrayal. This heartbreak serves as a wake-up call for Franklin, reigniting his original mission to confront the malignancies within Sig’s empire.
