4XD (1964): Cast

In 1964, at UniFrance’s request, director Philippe Labro shot a short documentary featuring four emerging French actresses—Mireille Darc, Marie Dubois, Catherine Deneuve and Françoise Dorléac—to introduce them to an international audience. Working with an informal style, Labro captures each star’s distinct personality while framing them against iconic Parisian streets, offering a lyrical portrait of the city as the heart of French cinema.
