Tess Haubrich

Tess Haubrich (born 1 April 1990) is an Australian actress and fashion model whose career bridges the runway and the screen. Raised in Sydney, New South Wales, she attended Pittwater High School before completing her secondary education at SCECGS Redlands, where her early interest in performance began to surface. During her late teens she embarked on a successful modeling stint that took her across major fashion capitals including Hong Kong, France and Germany, allowing her to cultivate a strong on‑camera presence and a versatile look that would later serve her acting ambitions. After several years on the catwalk, Haubrich returned to Sydney to study drama at the Actors Centre Australia, dedicating two intensive years to mastering theatrical techniques, voice work and movement, which laid the groundwork for her transition into film and television. In 2009 Haubrich made her television debut with a guest appearance on the long‑running Australian soap Home and Away, portraying Catie Merrin, and later returned to the series as Shandi Palmer in 2014, demonstrating her ability to inhabit distinct characters within the same narrative universe. Her film résumé quickly expanded with supporting roles in global productions filmed in Australia, such as The Wolverine (2013) and Infini (2015), before landing a more prominent part as Private Sarah Rosenthal in Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant (2017).
