Danielle Riley Keough, also known as Riley Keough, born on May 29, 1989, is a renowned American actress. Her acting career began in 2010 when she made her feature film debut in the musical biopic The Runaways. Keough then starred in films like the independent thriller The Good Doctor, Steven Soderbergh's comedy Magic Mike, and Mad Max: Fury Road. She saw a significant career breakthrough in 2016 for her role as an escort in the anthology series The Girlfriend Experience, which bagged her a Golden Globe nomination. Her brilliant performance in the drama American Honey gained her an Independent Spirit Award nomination. Keough continued to leave audiences spellbound with her performances in horror and drama films like House That Jack Built, It Comes at Night, Logan Lucky, The Terminal List, and Daisy Jones & the Six. Being the granddaughter of Elvis Presley, she became the sole owner of his legacy, Graceland, following her mother's death in 2023. Apart from acting, she is a co-founder of the production company Felix Culpa, and she has co-directed the drama War Pony, which won the Caméra d'Or.
Keough made an early start into the glamorous world of modeling at age 15 with Dolce & Gabbana, followed by the Christian Dior. She appeared on numerous magazine covers such as Japanese Elle, Korean Vogue, and the French publications Jalouse and L'Officiel. After starting her film career, she keenly explored and demonstrated her versatility in the wide range of roles she took up. Keough continued to create ripples in the acting landscape by starting her own production company, Felix Culpa. She has been a part of multiple critically-acclaimed films, revealing her outstanding talent and dedication to the art form.Keough married Ben Smith-Petersen in 2015, and they had a daughter in 2022.
