Mary Holland

Mary Holland, born June 24, 1985, is a renowned American actress, comedian, and writer. She was born and raised in Galax, Virginia and showed a keen interest in arts from an early age. Her educational journey took her to the Interlochen Center for the Arts, from where she later graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Northern Illinois University. Post-graduation, she embarked on a career in acting and comedy, starting her journey at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Over the years, she has evolved into a versatile talent, performing at UCB's flagship show called Asssscat, and bringing laughter to audiences across America.

As a member of the comedy improv group Wild Horses, along with Lauren Lapkus, Erin Whitehead, and Stephanie Allynne, she made numerous surprise appearances throughout the US, especially popular being her performances in the "Ben Schwartz and Friends" long-form improv show in 2022. Her acting career boasts roles in big titles such as Starz series Blunt Talk, HBO series Veep, and in the film Unicorn Store. In 2017, she also made waves with a role in the ABC comedy pilot Household Name. In recent years, Holland has moved into more social causes, including participating in the Sequester: Undercover Mini, a fundraising event for the Black Trans Travel Fund. Holland continues to contribute to the industry, recently acclaimed for her performance in the comedy movie, Senior Year.
