Maddie Corman (born Madeleine Cornman on August 15, 1970 in Manhattan, New York) is an American actress whose career spans more than three decades, beginning as a teenage star in the mid‑1980s and evolving into a versatile character performer across film, television, and stage. She first appeared on screen in the 1985 ABC Afterschool Special "I Want to Go Home," sharing the episode with emerging talents such as John Getz and a young Seth Green, which launched a steady flow of roles that established her as a reliable young talent in Hollywood. That same year she was cast in the teen comedy‑drama Seven Minutes in Heaven, playing Polly Franklin opposite Jennifer Connelly, a role that highlighted her ability to blend comedic timing with earnest teenage vulnerability. In 1987 she landed a supporting part in John Hughes’ iconic film Some Kind of Wonderful, portraying Laura, the younger sister of Eric Stoltz’s character, further cementing her presence in the era’s defining teen movies.
