Keith Jardine, also known as The Dean of Mean, is an American actor and a retired mixed martial artist who most notably competed in the UFC and Strikeforce. Born on October 31, 1975, in Butte, Montana, Jardine had an expansive career in mixed martial arts, registering a total of 30 wins out of which 8 were by knockout, 2 by submission and 7 by decision. Keith started his professional MMA career in 2001 and continued till 2012. Besides being a trained MMA artist, Jardine trained as a rugby player, wrestler, and footballer. He also worked in different professions, such as a personal trainer, firefighter, football coach, miner, and bounty hunter before focusing on his MMA career.

As an athlete, he defeated several tough opponents and participated in high-profile matches, including UFC matches and The Ultimate Fighter 2, a team-based reality television show created by the UFC. After retirement, Jardine transitioned to acting and has appeared in several films like John Wick, Preacher, and Once Upon a Time in Venice. Moreover, Jardine also has four bouts as a professional boxer, earning three wins and one draw. He's still strongly involved in the world of MMA, despite being 'semi-retired'. His accomplishments in the ring include twice winning the Fight of the Night and Knockout of the Night once in UFC.
