Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill known popularly as Henry Cavill is an esteemed British actor and model, born on 5th May 1983. He began his acting career with roles in film adaptations like The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) and I Capture the Castle (2003) before gaining further popularity for his portrayal of Charles Brandon in Showtime's The Tudors (2007–2010). Cavill reached international acclaim for his role as Superman in the DC Extended Universe taking the mantle from 2013 to 2023. His acting prowess spans various genres as he took up the mantle of Geralt of Rivia in the popular Netflix fantasy series The Witcher from 2019 to 2023. He further showcased his versatility by playing Sherlock Holmes in the Netflix adaptation of Enola Holmes and its 2022 sequel.
