Calum Worthy (born January 28, 1991) in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, began his acting journey at the tender age of nine when he appeared in the Fox anthology series Night Visions. By ten, he was already crossing continents, starring in the British miniseries I Was a Rat, and over the next two decades he amassed more than fifty film and television credits across five countries—Canada, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. Worthy's early career was marked by guest spots on popular shows such as Kyle XY, Supernatural, Smallville, Flashpoint, R. L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour, Good Luck Charlie, Zeke and Luther, and Two and a Half Men, showcasing his versatility in both drama and comedy. His breakthrough came with the Disney Channel’s Austin & Ally, where he portrayed the quirky Dez Wade, a role that earned him a loyal fan base and allowed him to pen an episode of the series.
