Björn Freiberg

Björn Freiberg, born on 28 March 1970 in Isny im Allgäu, West Germany, is a man of many talents. He is a celebrated German actor who gained renown for his roles in the critically acclaimed films 'Son of Saul' and 'The Martian'. The film 'Son of Saul', which released in 2015, received multiple accolades, winning the Grand Prize of the Jury at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival and earning the award of the International Federation of Film Critics. The film also secured the much-coveted Best Foreign Language Film Oscar at the Academy Awards 2016. In Ridley Scott's 'The Martian', Björn Freiberg embodied the role of a NASA staff member.
