Billy Slaughter

Billy Slaughter, born as William H. Slaughter on June 3, 1980, in New Orleans, Louisiana, is an American film and television actor distinguished for his roles in popular film and TV series. With his major break in 2002, Slaughter has built a commendable acting career, showing remarkable versatility and adaptability. Over the decades, he's been recognized for his roles in films like The Big Short, The Magnificent Seven, The Campaign, and Mindhunters. His television performance in Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches and Marvel's Cloak & Dagger also earned him high praise. Included among his accolades is the award won by the movie Mysterious Circumstance; he played a pivotal role in it, and the film bagged the 'Best Picture' at the Los Angeles Film Awards (2022).

Born and bred in New Orleans, Slaughter completed his schooling at Jesuit High School before chasing his acting dreams. He graduated in Drama and Communications from the University of New Orleans and honed his acting skills at the British American Drama Academy (BADA). His early career saw him standing in for Dustin Hoffman in the John Grisham film, Runaway Jury. This professional relationship continued from 2002-2005 as he worked as Hoffman's permanent stand-in. Throughout his career, Slaughter portrayed a wide variety of characters from different genres, even working with industry big names like Jason Statham, Jennifer Lopez, Will Ferrell, and Zoe Saldana, highlighting his cinematic prowess and adaptability.
