Arieh Worthalter

Arieh Worthalter, born on 25 March 1985, is a highly acclaimed French-Belgian stage and film actor. Born in Paris to a Belgian mother and French father, Worthalter showed a keen interest in performing arts, which culminated in his studying at the prestigious Institut Supérieur des Arts (INSAS) in Brussels. This solid foundation in dramatic performance paved the way for Worthalter's influential career in theatre and subsequently in cinema, becoming an influential figure in the international acting community. Worthalter's distinctive acting techniques and his multidimensional persona have made him a familiar face on stage and screen. His involvement in the film industry began in 2007 and he has since then been a consistent contributor, proving his worth with each role he undertook.

Over the years, Worthalter has meticulously selected a wide range of roles, demonstrating his acting prowess in films like Les Anarchistes (2015), Marie Curie: The Courage of Knowledge (2016), Eternity (2016), Bastille Day (2016), and Razzia (2017). His exceptional performances didn't go unnoticed: he received three Magritte Awards for Best Supporting Actor for his performances in Girl (2018), Mothers' Instinct (2018) and All to Play For (2023). In The Goldman Case (2023), he captivated the audience and critics alike with his portrayal of Pierre Goldman, earning him the Lumières Award for Best Actor, César Award for Best Actor and Magritte Award for Best Actor. He gained additional prominence when he publicly addressed socio-political issues during the 49th César Awards, calling for a ceasefire in the Israel–Hamas war and the release of hostages.
