Anthony LaPaglia

Anthony LaPaglia is a prolific Australian actor who has showcased remarkable talent across various roles in film, television, and theatre. Born on 31st January 1959 in Adelaide, South Australia, he embarked on his acting journey in 1977. LaPaglia has been a triumphant presence in the entertainment world, winning three AACTA Awards for his powerful performances in 'Lantana' (2001), 'Balibo' (2009), and 'Nitram' (2021).

LaPaglia gained international acclaim for his work in American television crime drama series 'Without a Trace' (2002–09), for which he won a Golden Globe Award in 2004. His Broadway stint too witnessed immense success, with him earning a Tony Award for Best Actor for his portrayal in 'A View from the Bridge'. He's also well-known for his performance in 'Frasier' (2000–04), which fetched him a Primetime Emmy Award. LaPaglia's filmography also includes diverse films like 'Betsy's Wedding' (1990), 'Empire Records' (1995), and 'Annabelle: Creation' (2017).
