Ann Hearn

Ann Hearn (born Ann Neel Simons on June 27, 1953) is an American actress and stage director whose career spans four decades of diverse work in film, television, and theater. Born in Griffin, Georgia, she is the daughter of Elizabeth Ann Neel and William "Bill" Simons. After completing a Bachelor of Arts in English and History at the University of Georgia, Ann pursued her passion for performance by earning a Master of Fine Arts in 1979, a credential that laid the foundation for her entrance into professional acting. She first appeared on screen in 1982, quickly establishing herself as a versatile character actress capable of handling both dramatic and comedic material.
