Adria Arjona

Adria Arjona Torres, born April 25, 1992, is best known for her various roles in American television and film. Known for her role as Dorothy Gale in Emerald City, Anathema Device in Good Omens, and Bix Caleen in Andor, Adria has shown remarkable acting versatility. She has starred in Father of the Bride, Hit Man, and Blink Twice, with noteworthy performances in Pacific Rim Uprising, Life of the Party, and Triple Frontier. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico before moving to Mexico City until she was twelve. She is the daughter of a well-recognized Guatemalan singer-songwriter, Ricardo Arjona, and Puerto Rican mother, Leslie Torres. Adria at the age of 12, moved to Miami with her mother after her parents divorced. She eventually relocated to New York City where she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute while working as a waitress and hostess.

Arjona's first few television roles include Emily in the second season of True Detective and Dani Silva in Person of Interest. Post her initial roles, she landed a lead character in Emerald City and Good Omens. She also played a minor character in Triple Frontier and later a starring role in the film 6 Underground. Arjona appeared alongside renowned actor Jason Momoa in the Netflix-released film Sweet Girl, and despite entering negotiations with Sony spinoff Morbius, the film wasn't well-received. In 2020, she was featured in the advertising campaign for Giorgio Armani's fragrance 'My Way' and was confirmed for the Star Wars series Andor on Disney+. She had been given the lead role in the Warner Bros. remake of Father of the Bride with Andy Garcia. The film, telling through the lens of a sprawling Cuban American family, was a hit. In addition, Arjona starred in and executive-produced the drama film Los Frikis.
