Sooraj Kaushik [Sooraj Pancholi] is a Mumbai-based gangster who crosses paths with Radha Mathur [Athiya Shetty], the daughter of the city’s Chief of Police, IG Shrikant Mathur [Tigmanshu Dhulia], at a party. Under the orders of his gangster father, Suryakant ‘Pasha’ Ranade [Aditya Pancholi], Sooraj pretends to wear a police badge and kidnaps Radha after Shrikant presents evidence against Pasha in court. Radha believes the ruse and leaves the city, traveling to a secluded spot in Jammu with Sooraj and his friends, including Shantaram [Kishore Kadam].

As the days pass, the two slowly fall in love, even as Pasha uses the kidnapping to pressure Mathur. The group is eventually spotted by the police, led by Radha’s brother Dheeraj [Sharad Kelkar]. The couple escapes, though Radha believes they are under attack by Pasha’s men, and in the ensuing chase Sooraj is shot in the arm while trying to leap a broken bridge; they both fall into the water, and the world believes they are dead. Back home, Pasha and Radha’s family are furious, while Sooraj and Radha are presumed lost to each other.

Rescued later by Buddhist monks, Sooraj, badly injured, lies unconscious while Radha stays by his side and confesses her feelings. Sooraj, who has fallen for Radha, finally tells her that he kidnapped her and was Pasha’s henchman, but she has already fallen for him and urges him to surrender. When they return to the city, Sooraj is confronted and held at gunpoint by Shrikant. In a fatal turn during an attempt by Pasha to flee justice, he ends up in prison for two years, a decision that drives a wedge between him and his son.

With the family divided, Dheeraj engineers a plan to give Radha a chance to be with Sooraj by proposing a Paris reunion, even lying to the family that he intends to set up a blind date between Radha and his old friend Ranvijay [Vivan Bhatena], a smuggler who becomes entangled with Pasha. One and a half years later, the court reduces Sooraj’s sentence for good behavior, and he is released to begin a new life with Radha, building a fitness center with Radha’s support and Dheeraj’s help.

But the plot thickens when Dheeraj’s wife crosses paths with Ranvijay and invites him into the family circle. Ranvijay works to drive a wedge between Sooraj and Radha, successfully winning the family’s approval as a potential son-in-law and sowing distrust in Sooraj. Radha and Sooraj attempt to explain their love through a musical theatre performance for Shrikant and Dheeraj, but Shrikant remains unconvinced, demanding Sooraj become a state witness and testify against Pasha. Sooraj declines, insisting he won’t betray his father for love.

The tension erupts when Ranvijay ambushes Sooraj, stabbing him after Dheeraj leaves. Pasha arrives the next morning to kill Sooraj for perceived betrayal, but Radha interrupts, vouching that Sooraj would rather go to prison than betray Pasha. The two reconcile, yet Ranvijay continues his vendetta, killing Pasha’s men and attempting to kill both Pasha and Sooraj. A dramatic confrontation unfolds when Shrikant arrives, shoots Ranvijay, and finally accepts Sooraj. In the end, Radha and Sooraj reunite and marry, choosing a life together despite the odds.

In the bustling, rain‑slick streets of Mumbai, a world of glittering parties and shadowed alleyways collides with the rigid order of law enforcement. The city pulses with a restless energy, where every smile may hide a hidden motive and every handshake can be a fragile truce. Within this vibrant backdrop, the tone oscillates between sleek, high‑octane swagger and moments of quiet introspection, inviting the audience to feel both the rush of danger and the weight of unseen expectations.

At the heart of the story is the magnetic Sooraj Kaushik, a young gangster whose charisma and street‑wise confidence mask a deeper internal conflict. Tasked by family ties to leverage power, he targets Radha Mathur, the intelligent and spirited daughter of the city’s uncompromising police chief, Shrikant Mathur. Their initial encounter is rooted in a high‑stakes ploy, but as they are thrust together on an unplanned journey, the rigid lines between captor and captive begin to blur. Radha brings a sharp wit and an unyielding sense of duty, while Sooraj wrestles with the moral grayness of his world.

As the two navigate unfamiliar terrain, the film explores themes of identity, loyalty, and the possibility of redemption. The dynamic between the charismatic outlaw and the principled police chief’s daughter creates a tension that is as much emotional as it is narrative, hinting at a transformative bond that could reshape both of their destinies.
