During this journey, Zoya serendipitously meets Nikhil Khoda, the steadfast Indian team captain who firmly believes in the power of hard work and disapproves of his team’s reliance on superstitions.

An unplanned breakfast with the cricket team leads Zoya to share a fascinating tidbit – she was born on the day India claimed its first World Cup victory. This revelation ignites the team’s belief that she could serve as their ‘lucky mascot.’ Their trust in her luck pays off, and the team secures a remarkable victory while in Sri Lanka. Despite feeling a magnetic attraction towards Zoya, Nikhil becomes frustrated by the media’s inclination to attribute their success to her.

As tensions rise, Nikhil finds himself in a rivalry with Robin, a former captain, whose uncle holds a significant position in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The Board, intrigued by Zoya’s supposed lucky charm, takes the initiative to officially sign her on as their Lucky Mascot.
