The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning 2007

Set in the fictional towns of Georgia, Bo Duke [Jonathan Bennett] and Luke Duke [Randy Wayne] are arrested for reckless driving and blowing up illegal fireworks, and they are paroled to their Uncle Jesse [Willie Nelson] in neighboring Hazzard County for a summer of hard work on the family farm. Daisy joins the effort, stepping into the bar world with a bold makeover that catches the eye of Hughie Hogg [Todd Grinnell], Boss Hogg’s nephew. The couple’s chemistry sparks a fast-track romance, and Daisy lands a job at the Boar’s Nest, where she proves herself capable and confident. As Bo and Luke push for speed and ingenuity, they enlist Cooter Davenport [Joel David Moore], a skilled mechanic who breathes life into a fast engine and a plan. The trio heads to a junkyard in search of a car worthy of the Duke name, only to stumble upon a buried classic in the form of a 1969 Dodge Charger—the General Lee in waiting. With hard work, elbow grease, and a fresh engine, the Duke brothers revive the famous ride, which becomes a symbol of their stubborn resilience and their willingness to fight for their family.

The Deliveries and the Threats grow more perilous as Boss Hogg enforces a dry county, hoping to wipe out moonshine once and for all and turn the Boar’s Nest into an ice-cream parlor. The stakes rise when Hogg offers a spectacular reward for anyone who reveals the illegal operation, and the Duke crew finds themselves pressed from alleys to backroads as they race against time. The tension intensifies as Daisy’s star rises at the Boar’s Nest—and as Hughie learns that his relationship with the newly emboldened Daisy may cost him more than it’s worth.

With Jesse behind bars, the Duke cousins uncover Hogg’s broader scheme: a county-wide ban would clear the way for his own illegal enterprise while sealing off any rivals. Daisy discovers Hughie’s involvement and uses her wit to expose the plan, steering Enos at the radio station to broadcast Hogg’s confession to the county. The moment of reckoning arrives: Bo and Luke, piloting the revived General Lee, ride Boss Hogg out to the edge of Hazzard’s infamous ravine and demand answers, threatening to drive over if he doesn’t come clean.
