Suraj is a mischievous man whose mother is disappointed with his behavior. When he uncovers his mother’s past and learns that his father was a Zamindar who owned the grand Swarna Palace—ruled by debts that wiped out their fortune—he makes a pledge to reclaim the palace by any means and restore his mother’s happiness. This vow sets him on a path filled with bold moves, love, and a touch of the fantastical.

Lilly is a petty thief with a greedy streak, and Suraj falls for her at first sight, only to be met with rejection. Across their budding if troubled dynamic, a rowdy rival named Chhota Ravan constantly hounds Lilly, teasing Suraj and driving him to sickness. The clash between desire, pride, and loyalty threads through their days, pulling Suraj deeper into both affection and risk.

In the realm of the afterlife, Yamraj (the God of death) and Chitragupt misplace a book called Bhavishyavaani, which records the futures of people. The lost book somehow lands on the roof of Suraj’s house, and by reading it, his fortunes begin to rise rapidly. Chhota Ravan is astonished by Suraj’s sudden wealth, and Lord Brahma warns Yamraj and Chitragupt that they must recover the book within a month or lose their powers. On Earth, Suraj uses the windfall to buy back Swarna Palace and brings his mother to live there. She asks for one thing in return—that he marry—and he consults the book to see if Lilly is the match. The book ominously predicts that his mother will die that night at 10 PM. To honor his mother, Suraj stages a marriage drama with Lilly, but the ruse backfires when Lilly exposes the deception, sparking anger and forcing her to demand that Suraj choose between her and his mother.

As Yamraj and Chitragupt arrive in search of the book, they are mistaken for a traveling drama company by the locals. Suraj steps in to protect them and realizes they are the real deities; his mother, however, remains alive because the book’s power is not at play. To shield his mother, Suraj enlists Lata to trap Yamraj, a decisive move that deepens the mystique of the unfolding events. Yamraj eventually learns the truth—that the book is with Suraj—and insists on getting it back, but Suraj refuses, prompting a tense confrontation that the two sides chase across many twists and turns.

Chhota Ravan escalates the conflict and tries to uncover the secret behind Suraj’s rapid rise. He wounds Suraj to force a confession, but Yamraj intervenes in an extraordinary moment by summoning Bruce Lee’s soul into Suraj’s body to press for answers. Suraj speaks of his motivation—his devotion to his mother—and Yamraj recognizes the depth of that love. Intrigued and impressed, Yamraj wants to meet the mother who inspired such loyalty and arranges a visit, inviting them to his home while not recognizing their true faces. In a surprising turn, Yamraj blesses Suraj’s mother with a life of vitality never before seen.

Meanwhile, Lilly is drawn further into the mystery and is ordered by Chhota Ravan to uncover the secret of Suraj’s fortune. She stages yet another romantic gambit with Suraj, pressing him to reveal the source of his luck, but he remains steadfast. When she pushes him to choose between her and his mother, he again chooses his mother, and Lilly finally understands the depth of his affection. Her perspective shifts as the bond between mother and son hardens into something stronger than a simple romance.

In the climax, Chhota Ravan abducts Suraj’s mother and uses the threat of the book to coerce Suraj. Yamraj seizes the opportunity to reclaim the book and moves to defeat Chhota Ravan. With the threat resolved and the book secured, Yamraj returns to claim Suraj’s mother’s life—but her life remains complete and vibrant thanks to the blessings borne from Suraj’s steadfast devotion and protective love.
