Deven Chaudhary, an automobile engineer, lives with his mother Suhasini and his ten-year-old son Raj Chaudhary. He designs a futuristic car with advanced features and names it DC. He also preserves an older Morris Minor car handed down by his late father, which he calls “Taarzan,” inspired by the car’s mirror ornament that resembles Tarzan.

Seeking a chance to bring his ideas to life, Rakesh Kapoor and his FourFox partners Kailash Chopra, Anthony D’Costa, and Mahesh Saxena praise the design but clash over royalties. They steal the concept and register it under their own name.

Enraged, [Deven Chaudhary] is left with no recourse but to confront the system, filing a complaint with the police. The investigating officer, Inspector Sanjay Sharma, is secretly on the payroll of the crooked group. He, along with Rakesh Kapoor and his cronies, ambush Deven, gag him, and push his car into a lake, resulting in Deven’s death.

Twelve years pass. Raj Chaudhary is now a college student who falls for Priya, a wealthy girl. He also works part-time as a mechanic at a garage run by Kartar Singh. When he stumbles upon his father’s old car, Taarzan, in a scrapyard, he scrapes together enough money to buy it for ₹5000.

With [Kartar Singh], Raj rebuilds the car, upgrading it far beyond Deven’s original design and renaming it DC to honor his father.

Unbeknownst to Raj, Deven’s spirit inhabits the rebuilt car, using it to punish the men who killed him: [Kailash Chopra], [Anthony D’Costa], [Mahesh Saxena], and [Inspector Sanjay Sharma]. Because the car belongs to Raj, the new automaton makes him a prime suspect in the ongoing case under the watch of Inspector Khurana.

When [Rakesh Kapoor] returns to India and discovers his partners are dead, he confronts Raj, only to realize Priya’s involvement in the tangled past. He suspects Raj of uncovering the truth and intends to seize Priya to send her to London for an arranged marriage. The revelation about Deven’s death shocks him, and before he can act, Deven’s spirit materializes to save Raj.

Cornered, [Khurana] arrests [Rakesh Kapoor]. Deven bids a final farewell to Suhasini and Raj, and with the family finally united—Raj, Suhasini, and Priya—the lingering spirit finds peace and ascends to heaven.

In a restless city where the hum of traffic masks hidden currents of grief and unresolved rage, the story follows a young man haunted by a family tragedy. Raj lives under the shadow of his father’s untimely death, a loss that lingers like a phantom engine revving in the background of his everyday life. When he discovers an old, rust‑capped automobile that once belonged to his father, the vehicle becomes more than a relic; it is a symbol of the bond that death could not fully sever. The atmosphere is charged with a palpable tension, as the ordinary world of garages and university halls meets an undercurrent of the uncanny.

Driven by a mix of reverence and yearning for closure, Raj pours his mechanical skill into restoring the battered car, christening it with a name that echoes both its legacy and his own longing. As the restoration progresses, the car begins to exhibit a strange, almost sentient presence that hints at something beyond metal and oil. The vehicle’s newfound agency suggests an invisible hand guiding it toward a purpose that aligns with Raj’s buried desire for justice, yet it also raises unsettling questions about the cost of vengeance. The tone remains taut and foreboding, weaving moments of suspense with the quiet introspection of a son confronting his past.

The film balances the sleek allure of cutting‑edge automotive design with a darker, supernatural edge that keeps the audience on edge. As the sentient car roams the night streets, its eerie glow and inexplicable power draw Raj deeper into a moral labyrinth where each rev of the engine feels like a heartbeat of unresolved guilt. The narrative promises a clash between technological triumph and ethereal retribution, leaving viewers to wonder whether the pursuit of justice can ever be disentangled from the shadows it casts.
