Stitch struggles to fit in with Lilo in Hawaii

Stitch tries to adapt to life with Lilo on the Hawaiian islands, but his klutzy behavior keeps causing disasters. Lilo consoles him by saying he is one-of-a-kind, which ironically makes Stitch feel more isolated. He longs for others he can call his cousins.

Gantu and Hämsterviel hire a plan to capture the experiments

Gantu is hired by Hämsterviel to retrieve Jumba's experiments, and he travels to Earth to abduct Jumba and seize a dehydrated pod containing Experiment 625. The mission establishes the threat posed by the other experiments. The stage is set for a direct confrontation with Stitch and his friends.

Stitch and Lilo confront Gantu but are defeated

Stitch and Lilo board Jumba's spaceship to pursue Gantu and engage him in battle. The encounter ends with their defeat and a crash back to Earth. The rescue effort continues as they regroup to protect Jumba and the remaining experiments.

Hidden container reveals multiple experiments

Back at their home, Pleakley discovers Jumba's hiding container of pod-encased experiments. He warns them not to tell anyone or reactivate the dangerous experiments. Despite the warning, Stitch and Lilo open the container and reactivate Experiment 221, also known as Sparky.

Experiment 625 is activated by Hämsterviel

Hämsterviel activates 625 to assault Jumba, proving the danger of the experiments. Despite sharing Stitch's powers and even speaking English, 625 is lazy and obsessed with sandwiches. The confrontation escalates tensions between the captors and the rescued crew.

Pleakley alerts Hämsterviel to ransom

Pleakley manages to contact Hämsterviel's ship via telephone and relays information. Hämsterviel demands a ransom for the other experiments in exchange for Jumba. The standoff raises the stakes for Jumba's safety.

Nani seeks help from Cobra Bubbles

Nani calls Cobra Bubbles to assist in the situation. He agrees to help them protect Jumba and the experiments. The plan adds external support to their mission.

Lilo and Stitch track down 221 at a hotel

Lilo and Stitch locate 221, now nicknamed Sparky, at a nearby hotel and manage to capture him with a glass vase. Stitch quickly befriends Sparky, realizing the new cousin he has found. The trio begins to form a makeshift family around the escaped experiment.

The trade goes off, Sparky joins the family; Sparky disrupts the ship

The rendezvous unfolds as Pleakley and Cobra prepare to trade the container for Jumba. When one container is missing, Lilo and Stitch arrive with Sparky and 221, declaring the experiments part of their ʻohana. Sparky disrupts power on the Grand Councilwoman's ship, enabling Hämsterviel and Gantu to escape aboard their ship with the experiments as Lilo, Stitch, and Sparky stow away.

Pod release scatters dehydrated pods across Hawaii

Inside the ship, the dehydrated pods are released and rain down across Hawaii, scattering the experiments. Stitch, Lilo, and Sparky are left to manage the chaotic spread while the villains escape. The scattered pods set up future adventures for the group.

Sparky sabotages the cloning device

Hämsterviel reveals his plan to clone Stitch a thousand times and straps him to a device. Stitch is about to be vivisected, but Sparky sabotages the machine, freeing Stitch. The trio then traps Hämsterviel to the device to rescue Lilo.

Gantu's ship crashes; Sparky finds a home

Stitch, Lilo, and Sparky sabotage Gantu's ship, causing it to crash near a waterfall on Kauai. They return Hämsterviel's ship to the rendezvous point and place Sparky at the Kīlauea Lighthouse, giving him a new home and purpose.

Council approves rehabilitating the experiments

The Grand Councilwoman agrees to rehabilitate the other experiments. She apprehends Hämsterviel and tasks Lilo and Stitch with tracking down the rest. This marks a shift toward integrating the experiments back into society.

Lilo and Stitch begin hunting the other experiments

Several experiments become active by various means, and Lilo and Stitch drive off in Jumba's dune buggy to locate them. The mission expands the ʻohana concept to all of Jumba's experiments and signals a continuing journey.
