Starring Jagapati Babu, Varsha, and Harikrishna Nandamuri, this saga unfolds in a village where three siblings—Sivaramaraju, Rama Raju, and Raju—belong to a royal lineage and remain inseparably bonded by kinship. They dote on their adorable sister, Swati, and vow that she should witness all three of them wed in her sight. The story begins with Swati arranging a match for Sivaramaraju with the compassionate and virtuous Rajeswari, setting in motion a chain of events that test loyalty, pride, and family ties.

Every year, the clan decorates the village goddess with garlands and dances before the temple, a ritual that brings together rival interests from neighboring realms. During one such festival, Nagendra Varma Zamindar of a nearby town visits with his son Aakash, intending to donate gold to the goddess as a solemn pledge. The moment Sivaramaraju arrives, tensions flare when Aakash is assaulted and insulted by Ramaraju, and Aakash’s revenge begins to unfold. He schemes to bind Swati to him, demanding the entire family’s wealth as a price for his silence, and the siblings reluctantly surrender what they possess to appease him. The family then retreats to a modest cottage and tries to cultivate a quieter life, while Swati insists on restricting visits to shield her brothers from further disgrace.

As time passes, Rajeswari’s father withdraws his consent to the match, and Sivaramaraju faces bankruptcy. Yet Rajeswari stands by him, choosing to proceed with the marriage at Swati’s residence. Sivaramaraju bears the consequences with stoic patience, even as Swati becomes pregnant. Meanwhile, Ramaraju marries his cousin Janaki, a union that soon sows discord as Janaki attunes herself to power and sets out to destabilize the already fragile joint family. Her arrogance is challenged by the family’s affection, and she must confront the consequences of her own missteps. In parallel, Raju falls for his college mate Rani, the daughter of a powerful MP. When Madan, Rani’s brother, strikes Raju, Sivaramaraju retaliates, drawing the wrath of the MP, who then moves to wipe out the household.

In a flashback that reveals the village’s deeper history, the MP bows before the photograph of Ananda Bhupathi Raju and withdraws his hostilities. Twenty-five years earlier, Ananda Bhupathi was revered as a judge and almost a deity, ruling the region with a decisive hand. Under his guidance, harmony prevailed, and he used his influence to safeguard a forbidden romance between Rajyalakshmi (the daughter of Zamindar Veeraraju) and Ramakrishna, a person of a lower social strata. Veeraraju’s fury could not overcome Ananda Bhupathi, who stood firm against him, even when Veeraraju plotted to end the lovers’ lives through treachery.

On the eve of a sacred festival, Ananda Bhupathi makes a vow to grant anything asked of him by a supplicant. Veeraraju, in his desperation, begs for the very head of Ananda Bhupathi, and the judge selflessly offers it, upholding his duty to justice and the younger generation. This act, and the sacrifice that follows, marks Veeraraju’s transformation and preserves Ananda Bhupathi’s legacy in history.

Back in the present, the MP reluctantly accepts the espousal as a boon, but the wedding becomes a battleground when Swati is forbidden from attending. Sivaramaraju rushes to her side, only to be beaten along with Swati by a cadre of assailants who threaten her happiness. Swati’s defiance grows, and she ultimately breaks off her engagement to Aakash—symbolized by the removal of the mangalsutra—before departing with her brothers. In a final, hopeful turn, Swati gives birth to a baby boy, and Aakash along with Narendra Varma come to seek forgiveness, bringing the family back toward reunion and peace. The film closes on a note of restored kinship and renewed happiness, with the family united once more around the newborn and the enduring bonds that bind them.
