During the exciting lead-up to the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, we are introduced to Park Dong-wook, who, along with his quirky team of mechanics and drivers, including Oh Woo-sam, Bok-nam, Park Yoon-hee, and Joon-ki, find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes situation. Tasked by prosecutor Ahn Pyung-wook to gain favor with General Lee Hyun-kyun and Chairwoman Kang In-sook, their mission is to unearth details concerning the former government’s secret fund. After managing several deliveries assigned by Kang, Dong-wook and his crew find themselves caught up in a world of conspiracies and deceit as they are appointed to assist her further.

As the tension escalates, it becomes evident that General Lee’s increasingly aggressive demeanor is a catalyst for Dong-wook’s fallout with his team member, Woo-sam, who is eager to pursue their original plan to extract crucial information about the secret funds—having obtained a key imprint that unlocks the vault of documents containing the incriminating evidence. However, their budding plans hit a snag when Lee discovers their true identities, leading to a dramatic confrontation where Woo-sam is captured and tortured, forcing Dong-wook and the remaining crew to flee for their lives.

In a shocking twist of fate, Dong-wook learns that Ahn has been murdered on Lee’s orders, and his team is subsequently framed for this heinous act. With the walls closing in and danger lurking around every corner, Dong-wook retreats to a secluded location where he stumbles upon a mixtape that eventually unveils a shocking recording of a secretive meeting involving Kang and three corrupt officials. Revelations abound as he discovers that Kang plans to frame Lee for the secret funds while she and the backdoor politicians scheme to abscond with the wealth to the United States.

Desperate to protect himself and his crew, Dong-wook makes a bold move by offering to assist Lee in confronting Kang for the rather exorbitant sum of one billion won, foreseeing that time is of the essence before the prosecutor and his men close in to apprehend him. With no alternative routes left, Lee agrees to this precarious alliance.

As a plan begins to take shape, Dong-wook summons his car racing rival, Galchi, and his crew to participate in their scheme—an elaborate scheme designed to ensnare both Lee and Kang, exposing their corruption and deceit. In the meantime, Yoon-hee bravely intervenes to rescue Woo-sam, while Dong-wook, alongside his companions Joon-ki and Bok-nam, leads Lee and his men on a thrilling and chaotic chase. The fate of this cat-and-mouse game culminates as Lee meets a tragic end in a high-speed car crash, just as the chief prosecutor arrives, seeking justice.

In a final act of daring, Dong-wook storms onto the very plane that Kang is aboard, bringing along a car filled to the brim with incriminating documents and the last remnants of a conspiratorial haul. A dramatic showdown ensues when Kang attempts to eliminate Dong-wook, only for him to inadvertently get his car stuck in the net that holds the illicit funds. With a swift and cunning maneuver, he drives out of the plane just in the nick of time, releasing the parachute set within the vehicle, ultimately ensuring a safe landing.

In the aftermath of this whirlwind of action, Kang is ultimately arrested, exposing her corrupt dealings, while Dong-wook and his team indulge in a portion of the illicit money they secured, promising to “upgrade themselves” before setting off for a new beginning in Los Angeles. This thrilling narrative not only encapsulates their adventure but also highlights their resilience and ingenuity in the face of overwhelming odds.
