After the death of his first wife, the wealthy Raja Aditya Pratap Singh [Jimmy Shergill] remarries, taking a new wife known as Chhoti Rani / Madhavi Devi [Mahie Gill], who soon descends into mental instability and mood swings that shake the family’s already fragile balance. The wealth of the estate was left to Aditya by his father’s former mistress, Badi Rani [Kanika Dang], who stays in control long after the patriarch’s death, while Aditya also keeps his own mistress, Mahua [Shreya Narayan], who keeps pressing for money. With Aditya strapped for cash, he finds himself returning to Badi Rani for support even for small needs, revealing how deeply money and influence run through the household.

Badi Rani pushes Aditya to concentrate on Chhoti Rani rather than Mahua, hoping to avoid the same mistakes that felled his father. In the political arena, Aditya’s attempt to secure contracts through Mantri Prabhu Tiwari [Rajiv Gupta] falters, and when Prabhu fails to deliver, Aditya decides to challenge him directly by contesting the MLA elections. As this political gamble unfolds, Gaindha Singh [Vipin Sharma], a ruthless business rival, begins eliminating Aditya’s trusted men, bloodily thinning out the backbone of his operation. The security details shrink, and Kanhaiya [Deepraj Rana], Aditya’s last loyal bodyguard, stands by as Suman [Deepal Shaw], Kanhaiya’s daughter, serves as a caretaker at the mansion, helping to keep Chhoti Rani settled.

Aditya’s visit to Prabhu uncovers a corrupt nexus between Prabhu and Gaindha, with contracts steered toward Gaindha’s favored outfits. He uses the threat of an election bid to force both Prabhu and Gaindha into a corner. Prabhu, desperate to sideline Aditya, recruits Gaindha to remove him, while Aditya himself begins to perform contract killings—taking on dangerous assignments to fund his lifestyle and strengthen his political leverage. To move ahead, he aligns with businessman Jaiswal [Mukesh Tyagi], accepting contracts to wipe out rivals and expand his reach.

The plot thickens as Gaindha escalates the hit, hiring the enigmatic Babloo, also known as Lalit [Randeep Hooda], who is the nephew of Sundar, Chhoti Rani’s chauffeur [Sitaram Panchal]. Babloo, a passionate and impulsive young man, joins Gaindha’s murderous campaign and quickly becomes central to the power struggle. When Sundar is injured, Babloo is brought in as his replacement, and Aditya hires him into the inner circle of his security. Babloo’s presence unsettles the household, especially Chhoti Rani, whom he finds alluring, and Suman quietly helps him adjust to the new dynamics in the mansion.

As the confidences between Babloo and Chhoti Rani deepen, Aditya semi-separates from Chhoti Rani, claiming infidelity on her part, even though the real entanglement is closer to Babloo. Chhoti Rani tests Babloo by asking him to commit suicide with a gun; the gun is unloaded, a trap Babloo sees through, thanks to a warning from Suman about the danger of such tests. Yet Babloo discovers that Chhoti Rani also has feelings for him, and the affair intensifies, with both beginning to plot not only the execution of Aditya’s contracts but also the possibility of Babloo becoming the next Saheb.

The tension erupts as Aditya cuts a deal, accusing Prabhu and Gaindha of corruption while Babloo feeds Gaindha false tender information to mislead him. Aditya ends up securing a lucrative contract through illicit means, selling it to Gaindha’s contractor for a profit, and earning a substantial windfall without real work. Meanwhile, Chhoti Rani presses Babloo to eliminate Mahua, and Babloo—caught between loyalty and affection—facilitates a plan that sees Mahua taken to Lucknow under his guidance.

When Babloo reports back, Aditya moves to silence Mahua with ruthless certainty, and the triangle of loyalty begins to fracture as Babloo becomes increasingly jealous of the attention Aditya shows Chhoti Rani. Chhoti Rani, meanwhile, arranges a potential marriage between Babloo and Suman, plotting to consolidate power within the household, while Babloo tries to balance his dual loyalties to Aditya and Chhoti Rani.

A dramatic turn follows as Aditya orchestrates a confrontation with a hired leopard and Babloo engineers a scenario to pin the blame on Gaindha’s brother, triggering a violent clash. Babloo wounds Aditya and kills Kanhaiya, but ultimately spares Aditya when his romantic interest in Chhoti Rani becomes clear. Yet Chhoti Rani delivers a crushing verdict: “he can only be a partner in the bedroom, but not as a Saheb.” The melodrama reaches its apex as Aditya is left paralyzed yet wins the election on a sympathy wave, while Chhoti Rani emerges triumphant, installing a new driver and consolidating control over the sprawling estate.
