When a pivotal panelist—an old ally of Aditya—unravels a devastating thread, a dark truth comes to light: the murder of his own daughter, Valli Nivetha Thomas, sparked the commissioner’s brutal killing spree and set the whole operation in motion.

In the backstory, a minister assigns Aditya to Mumbai to tackle rampant drug trafficking and prostitution, a mission that quickly escalates into a high-stakes crusade. On his first big push, he rescues three kidnapped women, one of whom is the daughter of Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister. This dramatic rescue becomes the catalyst for a broader campaign: Aditya leverages the sensational cases to mount a sweeping crackdown that nets numerous drug dealers and traffickers and disrupts the criminal networks that feed the city’s darkest trades. Among those caught up in his raid is Ajay Malhotra Prateik Babbar, the son of powerful industrialist Vinod Malhotra Nawab Shah. Ajay’s arrest becomes a focal point of the conflict, as Aditya pushes for accountability and refuses to bow to political pressure.

The pursuit intensifies when Aditya learns Ajay has a clandestine proxy in play. He digs into the web of connections that link Ajay’s case to Vinod’s entourage, pressing for a full government inquiry into the people guarding those links. A covert operation leads him to Bangkok, where Ajay is manipulated into a passport-fraud trap by Thai authorities—only to be released when corrupt diplomats, operating with Vinod’s money, declare him a political prisoner in India. Undeterred, Aditya orchestrates a dramatic move: he has Ajay’s proxy killed beneath the pretenses of self-defence and announces the display of Ajay’s corpse to the media. This ruthless tactic leaves Vinod and his allies cornered, forcing them to improvise as they scramble to cover up the truth.

The plot thickens as Aditya’s investigations reveal a shattering revelation: Ajay is not Vinod’s son after all, but the son of the feared ganglord Hariharan “Hari” Chopra [Yograj Singh], the man responsible for a brutal massacre of 17 Mumbai police officers. This revelation redefines the stakes, driving Hari to return from abroad with a vow of retaliation. Hari’s arrival in India via the Bangladesh–India border unsettles Vinod, who phones Aditya’s daughter Valli to warn her that danger lurks near her father’s circle. The tension spikes when Hari stabs Vinod for his failure to protect Ajay, targeting Aditya and Valli and orchestrating a devastating car crash intended to erase them both. Aditya survives, but Valli suffers a subdural hematoma and is told she has only hours to live. Before dying, Valli records a message for her father, a grainy video that becomes a lifeline for Aditya, urging him to stay steadfast and finish the truth.

Grief intensifies into a new kind of certainty for Aditya. Believing Vinod to be behind the catastrophe, he storms Vinod’s residence only to discover the old man has been murdered in a manner that hints at a larger conspiracy. Enraged and seeking answers, Aditya redoubles his pursuit, moving from personal vengeance to a full-blown hunt for the truth about Hari’s network. The investigation gains momentum, and Aditya, once suspended for his aggressive methods, proves his steadiness and is reinstated by the police after presenting evidence of his resolve and mental balance. With renewed purpose, he narrows the field to Hari and his accomplices, tracing Hari’s reach to a crumbling Mumbai Media complex owned by a media tycoon connected to Hari’s circle.

In a climactic confrontation, Aditya leads a police raid through the maze-like complex, cutting down Hari’s guards and capturing one of Hari’s key associates, Pramod Gupta, while Hari himself retreats to the site of his earlier massacre. He then lures Aditya by seizing the families of fallen police officers as hostages, forcing a final showdown in which Aditya and Hari collide in a brutal, knife-driven duel. The struggle ends with Hari fatally wounded by Aditya, who delivers the final, decisive blows and walks out of the police station as the city’s vigilante-hero figure with a hard-won sense of closure. Amid the smoke and sirens, a child in a police uniform salutes him, and Aditya returns the gesture with a solemn, earned smile.
