A family discovers the beheaded body of a judge at the entrance of his residence, setting off a high-stakes investigation. The police operation is led by Officer Peruvalathan, and the team soon brings in gun specialist Pon Manickavel [Prabhu Deva] to help unravel a case that has left detectives puzzled: four gunshot wounds with no bullets recovered at the scene. The DCP suggests that Manickavel join the inquiry, hoping his expertise can cut through the mystery. Manikavel, who had resigned after a troubled case in Salem, steps into the picture with a blunt, no-nonsense mindset that both irritates and impresses Peruvalathan. His presence signals that this investigation will be unconventional, but potentially decisive.

As the team pieces things together, Manikavel quickly deduces that the next target is an Inspector. The inspector receives a threatening message from an unknown number, and before help can arrive, the inspector’s car is shattered in a fatal blast that shakes everyone involved. The investigation leads them to an undercover officer, Kailash, who provides a crucial photograph showing the Judge and the Inspector alongside a powerful business tycoon, Arjun K Maran. With this new lead, Manikavel agrees to stand by Arjun, taking on the role of his bodyguard after recounting a past Salem case that ended with his own jail term and resignation. The decision draws lines between protection and leverage, hinting at a deeper game at play.

Manikavel’s backstory begins to unfold: a previous attempt to convict a criminal named Sait, who raped and murdered a young girl, ends in tragedy when the survivor’s mother shoots herself, and Manikavel is held responsible for the fallout. A court later sentences him to six months in prison for negligence, a memory that fuels his stubborn resolve. Arjun, wanting to secure his position, offers Manikavel a large sum—10 Crores—seeking to buy his loyalty and expertise. As the pieces fall into place, Kailash identifies Nasarathulla as the killer, while Nasarathulla’s granddaughter Heena becomes entangled in a web that includes harassment by Arjun. When Heena files a complaint, Arjun is briefly arrested and then released, escalating the tension. Nasarathulla’s world begins to crumble as a disturbing reality emerges: Heena is later found dead in a train accident, a tragedy that fuels the chase and fuels a sense of urgency in the investigation.

The case heats up when Nasarathulla is caught attempting to buy an illegal gun, confirming the depths of the conspiracy. With a CCTV trail and a photo, Manikavel sends evidence to Arjun, whom Arjun dismisses as part of an old business dispute. Yet Manikavel’s hold on the investigation tightens as he protects Arjun in the Commissioner’s Office and narrowly evades assassination attempts, even as he is stabbed while trying to shield him. In the hospital, the higher-ups grow wary, noting that there might be a fourth person manipulating events behind the scenes. Manikavel sets up a counterplay, orchestrating attacks on both his house and the Commissioner’s Office, the latter one turning out to be the real threat.

A pivotal twist arrives when CCTV footage reveals a man named Aaron, who targets Manikavel’s wife, Anbarasi [Nivetha Pethuraj]. The confrontation culminates in Aaron’s death at an abandoned building, leaving more questions than answers but clarifying one thing: the game is larger than a single killer. The truth finally surfaces when Arjun discloses the name of the mastermind—Badrinath [Sudhanshu Pandey], a formidable businessman, more powerful than Arjun and notorious for his womanizing ways. Heena’s harassment and the dark shared secrets among the trio—Arjun, the judge, and the inspector—reveal a horrifying network of abuse and corruption that Badrinath piloted from behind the scenes.

Manikavel’s courage leads to a daring rescue of Heena from Badrinath’s villa, where she is kept as a captive. Badrinath retreats to a guesthouse and then to an underground bunker, trying to outmaneuver the investigators. Meanwhile, Kailash closes in on the gun used in the judge’s murder, and the truth about Manikavel’s actions begins to surface: he has been orchestrating a dangerous balance between protecting some targets and threatening others to bend the case to his will. The confrontation escalates when Manikavel uses a special firearm from Delhi Armory to confront Badrinath in his bunker, while Nasarathulla, who had been in the same prison cell as Manikavel, reveals how much he knows and what he’s willing to reveal.

In the climactic moments, Manikavel shoots Badrinath after a tense standoff, but Nasarathulla fires first and then turns the gun on Manikavel, who shoots Nasarathulla in self-defense as police arrive. The Commissioner publicly praises Manikavel for his actions, even as the scales of justice hang in the balance. Nasarathulla, who remains alive after the immediate danger, stays under Manikavel’s protection, while the fallout continues to ripple through everyone involved. Nasarathulla later kills Arjun, and Manikavel is left to explain that he had already killed the judge and the inspector in an attempt to expose the deeper conspiracy. Kailash’s vow to arrest him lingers in the air, but for now, Manikavel walks away with a wary sense of victory and a complicated sense of purpose, hoping for a future where accountability—not vengeance—guides his steps.
