Ram [Atharvaa Murali] is positioned at the center of a surprisingly brutal opening: a car ride with two apparently intoxicated, moneyed men and their companion. In Bangalore, Ram meets the woman who becomes the emotional core of the film: Charu. She lives in a quiet apartment, and as Ram sleeps in her space, a darker impulse surfaces—he ventures into the streets and ends up killing one of the men from the opening scene. This act haunts him, but it also marks the beginning of Charu’s danger, and Ram’s determination to shield her by keeping her confined in the apartment while he tries to “clean” the city of threats for her safety.

Meanwhile, Ram’s world intersects with corporate power and personal risk. Latha, Ram’s CEO who has just returned from the US, is engaged to a man named Vicky. She enlists the help of her PA, Chandru, to dig into Ram’s life and slow-burn questions about who Ram really is. On a drive that should bring Ram and Latha home, they are stalked by a red lorry intent on ending them. Ram fights to protect both of them, shoving Latha to safety and taking a brutal blow himself. He is rushed to the hospital by Latha, where the questions of memory and recognition begin to surface in a new light.

In the hospital, Latha’s uncle, a doctor, becomes a key intermediary as Ram, unconscious, mutters Charu’s name. This triggers a cascade of revelations: Ram and Charu had worked together on a competition, and Ram fell in love with Charu from the moment he met her. Charu’s life is at stake because her laptop data has been corrupted, and a club visit to retrieve a USB backup leads to a confrontation with the two men Ram previously tried to kill. Charu’s attempts to report the harassment lead to threats, and Ram’s protective instincts intensify.

As the truth unfolds, we learn how the competition shaped Charu’s fate. On the day of the presentation, Ram plans to propose by bringing a gift. He leaves Charu momentarily to gather himself, returning just in time for the event. From the balcony, he spots the two men who once teased Charu inside the venue and mistakes them for the danger chasing her. In his panic, he loses his grip on reality, believing Charu is in imminent danger, and the world tilts toward catastrophe. He chases a car and is forced off the road, slipping into a delusional state. He returns home, remaining in the same clothes for days, waiting for Charu to come back.

Charu arrives—though not the Charu Ram expects. The Latha who has recovered him has been playing the role of Charu, and the real Charu’s fate became a complicated ruse shaped by memory and deception. The doctor reveals that the Charu Ram longs for isn’t the Charu he saw, but a version projected by Latha, who took on Charu’s identity to stabilize Ram’s mind. Latha also discovers that another woman—an older blind Charu—appears on the phone to Ram, a deception meant to keep him anchored.

Latha’s plan to act as Charu deepens as she begins to fall for Ram, while still navigating the labyrinth of Ram’s delusions. The temple wedding is set into motion, but the plan to trick Ram with a fake killing backfires. Latha is kidnapped by two of Vicky’s friends, who reveal that Vicky is gay and cannot accept a traditional marriage; their attempt to take Latha to safety fails, and Ram leaps into action to save her. The rescue is intense: Ram fights to protect Latha, but is knocked out in the process. When he regains consciousness, he returns to a home that now feels haunted by the memory of Charu.

Between visits to the hospital and the hospital’s grim corridors, the film explores the toll of Ram’s delusions and the ethical murk of Latha’s ruse. The uncle’s confession clarifies his role: he knocked Ram unconscious to ensure Latha’s safety, and he ultimately convinces Latha that a genuine future with Ram may be possible.
